– CATHOLIC Schools Times Tuesday, February twelve th is the start of Catholic Schools Week. This community helps guide its people in their devotion to the Faith. By celebrating different facets of Our Lady of Sorrows School, we continue to strengthen the bonds that are the foundation of this Catholic community. The school will be having a variety of activities. Please have your child bring $5.00 to participate in these activities. The donations will be divided up between a variety of charities.
- February 13 th (Tuesday) – Red Along with Date & Pizza Food
- College students may come wear Purple.
- Our college family is nicely giving a pizza pie food on this time, since a thank you to all our very own great people as well as every they do in support of one another! Most of the college students gets dos 100 % free items of pizza with this day. Delight pack any additional foods otherwise products as required. Please be aware there was a mistake with the calendar and the latest pizza food are tomorrow, March 13 th .
– Ash wednesday – Stages step 3 Mass – Zero Pizza pie Dinner Today Ash Wednesday Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 14 th at 9:00 a.m. Parents and grandparents are welcome to join us. Students need to be in full uniform (sweaters and black shoes).
Please note that there was an error on the calendar and the pizza lunch is on Saturday, March thirteen th and NOT Wednesday, February fourteen th .
– Lent Packets Lent boxes will be sent home on Wednesday, February 14 th (Ash Wednesday) (Grades 1-7). All boxes will be collected after Easter Monday, Friday, April 2 nd . We also ask that you print the amount collected on the box. Please use this opportunity to encourage your child to give alms (to do charitable work).
– CATHOLIC EDUCATORS’ Meeting – Zero College All teachers will be attending the Catholic Educators’ Conference on Thursday, March 15 th and you will Monday, February sixteen th . The school will be closed for these two days.

2024 University Donation Income tax Invoices The 2023 school donation tax receipts were sent home on Monday with your oldest child. If you have not received this, please check your child’s backpack. School tax receipts are claimed as a charitable donation, it is NOT a tuition expense.
Friday, March 16 th from the step 3 p.m. Once the ordering is closed, we cannot accept any other orders. Payments can be made by cheque or cash (dropped off at the office in an envelope with your child’s name and grade on it) or by credit card online. Please note, the school is charged transaction fees for credit card payments so if you’d prefer to pay by cheque or cash, it would be greatly appreciated. If paying for your order online, your payment must be made by February 16 th on step 3 p.m. If you do not submit your payment by this date and time, your order may be cancelled. If you are paying by cash or cheque, your payment must dropped off at the school office by March 21 st on step three p.meters.
